Great place for take out coffee and pastries! Super efficient staff!

Entramos a probar las Carolinas típicas y no defraudaron . Los dulces frescos y a buen precio.

The Yogurt and forest fruit cake was so delicious and light (like mousse) and addictive. Ate it wayyy too quickly. Came back for some more sweets and they had adorable mini tarts of cheesecake, tiramisu, etc for 50c! Which were also inhaled in two seconds. The girl working there is super sweet and friendly and patient. Highly recommended!!

Buenísima pastelería en Bilbao, cerca de la Plaza Nueva. Probamos el pastel vasco, un bollo de mantequilla, un pastel de manzana, palmeritas de chocolate… Todo exquisito Si tengo tiempo espero poder volver a por pastelitos para probarlos porque se veían también deliciosos y siempre que vengamos a Bilbao compraremos. Muy recomendable!

absolutely delicious pastries and cookies! we tried 5 different types of cookies - all were delicious! We also tried toasted brioche slices with a sweet cream filling and burned sugar on top - these were fantastic! Nice and friendly service, too.

While exploring Bilbao, I had the fortune of passing Bi by Jatera. This pastry shop offers mini pastries including the most typical pastries in Bilbao including the Carolina (merengue drizzled with chocolate and egg yolk atop a pastry bottom), pastel de arroz (imagine the Portuguese egg tart although with rice in the custard), and bollo de mantequilla (sweet dough filled with butter cream). I tried one of each and instantly became hooked on the Carolina in particular. Thanks, Bi by Jatera for offering minis and introducing me to the tastes of Bilbao.

Pasamos por este local por acaso y decidimos probar la tarta de queso. Es deliciosa! Y las miniaturas tenían un aspecto exquisito también. Excelente experiencia.
